DONALD TRUMP: An Unusual President?

Not if you’re paying attention. President Trump is not a Republican, nor is he a Democrat, because President Trump is not a politician. He owes no allegiance to either party, because neither party elected him. Both parties’ establishments were against his presidency, and remain so. No. Mr. Trump is The President—nothing less.
President Trump is President of the people, elected by the people, just as presidents are supposed to be. What a concept! A President Of The People! Why hadn’t someone thought of this before? Answer: They did. Back in the 18th Century. Just as legislatures were supposed to do their elected duty and then go home, So was the President. Nobody said he had to be a politician; he was just supposed to be The President. Elected by the people: a President Of The People. Nobody said there had to be politicians elected for life. They were supposed to be representatives of the people, do their job (represent the people), then go home. Now Hear This, Mr. Obama. Of course, Mr. Obama never was president of the people. He was president of the politicians.
It’s well appreciated that The Media are as political as the politicians and as such do not much care for the president, or his people. To hear them talk one would think that Mr. Trump is failing. While he may be failing as president of the political class, he is succeeding as President of the People by making good on his promises to the people during his campaign to those same people. Just look at what he’s accomplished during his first month in office: worrying The Establishment to death.
He speaks only for himself, to those who elected him. He bypasses the Press and therefore The Establishment, speaking directly to the people and acting in their behalf. He has selected an Administration to advise him, not to work in his behalf. He can do that by himself. He can be President by himself. His apolitical-ness speaks for itself, not for the establishment.
Sixty-three million people were trying to get Washington’s attention, and they did, contrary to the Washington Establishment’s wishes. Let the games begin! (They have, and it’ll only get better…)

  • At this time it sounds like WordPress is the preferred blogging platform out there right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you are using on your blog?
