ETHICS and RESPONSIBILITY
Now that we’ve settled the meaning of life, we can put the second question What do I do here and now (anywhere, any time)? to rest as well:
You initiate, cause, develop, invent, produce, make, generate, beget, achieve, accomplish, devise, build, construct. You endeavor to bring about what will extend, stretch or expand your (and therefore humanity’s) envelope. You continue to become. You create. And in doing so honestly and responsibly, you further the progress of humanity. Your power!
But don’t forget the other side of the coin–what responsibility!
And because we have responsibility, we’re obliged to be honest about it. As a card-carrying member of humanity, it’s your responsibility to be moral. This is, in fact, your only responsibility.
Your responsibility to humanity is to be ethical and to act–create–morally. That’s all you have to do, anywhere at any time, under all circumstances.
So the answer to the question what to do right here and right now, is the same as the first: Become and create responsibly, and morally resolve relationships between your self and the rest of humanity.
And our philosophy is essentially complete. Let’s see how it can be employed to save humanity.
