IS ISLAM ETHICAL?
Ethics being founded in truth, Islam is demonstrably unethical on its face. The Qur’an and its supporting documents deny the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, claiming that He died a natural death at a much later date. Additionally, Islam denies the Christian Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In doing so, Islam denies the very foundations of Christianity, effectively nullifying it as a religion. It does this on the basis of convenient alterations to the Christian Bible made hundreds of years after the fact (early Seventh Century), claiming theirs to be the ‘genuine’ bible.
Regardless of one’s views concerning religions and their validity, the life and death of Jesus of Nazareth are historical fact, and may not be changed or dismissed as irrelevant. The denial of history is not only inexcusable, IT IS UNETHICAL. A few examples: According to Islam, Allah/God would have no earthly partnership; therefore Jesus could not be his son (but, whether or not one accepts it, the Bible says that He is). And according to Islam, “…Jesus, the son of Mary, said: “O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of God unto you, confirming that which was revealed before me in the Torah and bringing the good tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad [the Praised One].” This statement cannot be justified by, or even found in, the Christian (original) Bible. It is a lie.
Islam, being founded in a lie, therefore must be unethical. Doubters are encouraged to read the Qur’an (a genuine–reference–version, not one written by an apologist). This is by no means a difficult task, and doing so will illustrate clearly that Islam is not a ‘religion of peace,’ but instead promotes the violent extinction or conversion of infidels (anyone not Muslim).
This often is accomplished by acts of a special kind of genuine terrorism. A distinction is necessary because the term (terrorism) is commonly (and politically-correctly) defined as violence committed by a person, group, or government in order to frighten people and achieve a political goal. This may include conventional warfare and even race riots. However, this politically correct definition ignores the key term terror itself (defined as a state of intense fear) which defines precisely the Islamic type. Employing the key word we arrive at the true meaning of Islamic terrorism: a state of intense fear propagated by a person or group to achieve a religious goal. This special kind of terrorism employed by Islamists includes public beheading, mass murder of innocents by suicide bombers and other methods designed to incite extreme fear of the perpetrator. No other form of terrorism even remotely resembles the genuine terror propagated by Islam.
Apologists will claim (among other things) that more terrorism in our country is perpetrated by Latinos than Muslims www.loonwatch.com/2010/01/not-all-terrorists-are-muslims/. Even children involved in firearms accidents often are included. It is left to you to judge the validity of such an approach.
